Coaching Biography

Daniel Saab has been a professional aerial instructor and coach since 2015. He attended Independent Lake Camp as a camper during his childhood, and then learned how to coach in his final two years as a circus primary counselor. After leaving ILC he continued learning to coach at Tribe Body where he worked as an Instructor's Assistant, and Camp Lohikan where he worked again as a circus primary counselor. As he continued his own personal training at Circus Warehouse NYC he continued learning different ways to cue and spot from his mentors. In his experience as a resident instructor, Daniel has held many different responsibilities. He has developed and maintained aerial programs for new studios, choreographed entire student showcases, trained aspiring coaches, and juggled large group classes with wide level disparities.

After deciding to pursue his performance career, Daniel then began focusing on guest instruction. Between performance contracts he was being flown out to studios around the country to host specialized workshop weekends. When the pandemic hit, he was then forced into bringing his teaching virtually where he began to excel at his verbal cueing and adapting his coaching to a new medium.  Since making the decision to focus on private lessons and guest workshops in-between performing contracts, Daniel has brought his knowledge to students from across the globe.

Daniel prides himself on his ability to work with a large range of students and meet individuals where they are at. As a professional coach specializing in spinning and dynamics, Daniel has been sought after by high-level students who want an experienced coach to help them with movement they would be nervous to attempt on their own. But, as a foundation driven coach with a lot of patience, Daniel also works well with beginner-level students who don't yet have an understanding of the technique needed in order to develop their skills. He emphasizes that all of his students must maintain a strong technical foundation while also allowing them the freedom for creativity so they can develop not only as an athlete, but as an artist.
